Ice Hockey Pants

what do you think about weearing pajama pants while playing goalie (ice hockey)?

I'm new to the sport, so i was asking around in my school (and i asked on here) what else i needed besides the standard equipment.....i got many responses and one of them was hockey socks......i was talking to one of the best players in my school and i said that i needed a jersey and socks, and was like just wear sweatpants or something. and then he went on that his cousin wears pajama pants while playing............what do you guys think about this idea?
i'm asking about if you would do it.....not if it is good for me

This season will be my 12th year as a goaltender. I am currently playing college hockey and i have worn both socks, sweatpants, pj pants, wind pants, etc. hockey socks are not my favorite because i don't like to wear them. wind pants are too tight and after one time on the ice wearing the you'll most likely rip the crotch are of the pants, pj pants and sweatpants are very comfortable. All through high school and now my second year of college i have worn sweatpants. try to avoid wearing long sleeved shirts or turtlenecks under your chest protector because it would be wayyyyy to hot. Who cares what other people do or say. try different things and find what you are comfortable with. good luck!
