whats the difference between ice and roller?
Can I use a roller hockey helmet on ice?(Will i get hurt)
You can wear an ice helmet for roller hockey but I would not wear a roller helmet for ice hockey. The ice helmets are made to withstand hockey pucks coming at you at 90 mph.
I used an Itech 1200 when I first started out. that helmet would be fine for roller hockey but I quickly up graded it when I started playing higher level ice hockey.
You can get some great, used ice hockey masks on eBay.
