I'm just a casual user so I wanted a low-cost laptop that runs faster than what I bought five years ago. For a $ 500 laptop that I have that works and works quite well.
Professionals -
There are a number keypad you must enter the data.
Shiny!
Windows 7 instead of Vista.
More RAM and hard disk of my older computers together.
~ 4 hours of battery life.
3 USB ports
Disadvantages -
Clear but the screen can affect too often so it is difficult to see in some corners.
The keyboard has a tendency to double letters or letters sometimes in autumn. I have never this problem on my old laptop (Dell Inspiron 6000) and I just checked to make sure you have the latest drivers.
Mouse pad can be cold sometimes it irritates me no end. Nor is it a problem that I had an old laptop.
Recognition program to me that my glasses off before use. That sounds silly for someone who is blind as a bat and you need glasses? (Just a little mind because I'm really interested in safety. My friend has a laptop with a fingerprint reader which is much more fun but very stupid if you wear gloves when handling a computer.)

A solid laptop with a small price tag
Over the course of my college years, I have access to a few laptops, including this lenovo G550. It has very solid construction quality and runs very fast for normal use (e.g. office and web). It's quiet, looks cool, and has a nice screen. I would recommend this to any one who wants a solid laptop without paying an arm and a leg.

Rock solid
I'm a low end user. Checking email, some wordprocessing, watching DVD's, downloading music and films... you get the idea.
First, this is an ugly machine, but I've come to love it. When I first pulled it out of the box it looked so cheap I was checking my invoice to see if it could be returned. Over the near three months I've had it, it has really grown on me.
A reviewer stated that it's flimsy plastic. Hey buddy, I got news for you they're ALL plastic in this range, and this isn't flimsy at all. It does NOT flex when you pick it up like those faux, slick looking metallic ones that are magnets for fingerprints. And the raised texture surface pattern means no fingerprints. I've come to appreciate the ingenuity of this baby. It's like the people at Lenovo decided to do away with any pretenses of being attractive and focused on building a rock solid laptop, at a great price (I got mine at newegg for $400).
Being it's this basic, hardworking machine there are no frills. No DVI, no lighted keyboard, no fingerprint ID, no operational shortcut buttons for DVD/music playing. It's black, it has an on button (cheap looking), lights to tell you it's running and if you have the CAPS LOCK on. Surprisingly it has a webcam???
So if you're looking for a reasonably priced laptop for school or travel, you can't go wrong with this. It's fast and I work with multiple windows from multiple programs open and there's never a problem.

A Good Product
While I sympathize with everybody who was compelled to cleanly install Windows 7 any consumer should pay the price for the PC with Windows 7. It may cost more but Windows 7 is worth it. I received an offer that I couldn't refuse for the G550 with an XP system. In addition I received a trial version of 7. I was impressed and bought it too and my troubles began. First Microsoft makes many versions of 7. With the trial version they provided me with Ultimate. I bought the Pro version of Windows 7. When the versions are different you must custom install it. I missed this 'little' detail and used the automatic installation. You can't upgrade the superior version with the updraft. It must be first erased through the installation then Windows 7 is installed. There is also a problem with files. They will also be erased during installation. So you must remove them onto the disc or flash drive then recover them after 7 is installed. Microsoft also provided two discs. One contained the 32-bit application and another a 62-bit application. The 62-bit product was designed for heavy data processing. You need at least 3GB of memory and more than 400 GB of storage. Use the 32-bit application. It's more standard. By the way the Lenovo ran just fine during the struggle with Microsoft. Now don't buy the Windows 7 Pro then buy a cheaper Lenovo. Stick with the G550. Once you decline the manufacturer tries cost-cutting measures like combining keyboards along with a smaller screen or whatever will save money. At that point your buy loses its value. It's not the greatest PC on the market but it will do quite well and buying it with Windows 7 installed only increases the cost but also the value of your purchase.

Getting Rvs Ready For The Season
It's that time of year again and most of us are more than ready for getting our RVS ready for camping. This winter has been a longer than usual season and most camping people want it to be over. Patience fellow campers, it's not as though we can just hook up and go when the season does allow us. Conscientious campers know that you need to do what is called "de-winterize" the RVs. Yes, if you were meticulous last fall, you must be equally diligent this spring and properly de-winterize your RVs.
This will involve a few tasks that are best addressed in a systematic manner so nothing falls through the cracks. So let's begin the process of first removing the RVs from storage.
It is desirable to start this next season knowing that all the major systems are checked and working properly. Make sure that nothing is over looked and that if additional maintenance is required, it is addressed before major nuisances become inconveniences on the road.
Keep in mind, you're not only de-winterizing your RVs, but also performing a mini pre-delivery inspection on the unit just like the pro technicians do before delivering them to the buyers at an RV dealer. Always have a pad and pencil on hand and jot down any items that need attention. Don't rely solely on your memory. I can almost guarantee you will forget something and may even get upset later that you did. If you discover something that needs repaired and you don't know how to do it yourself, don't fret, just give places like Couch's Campers of Middletown Ohio a call, they have experts that can fix them for you at a very affordable price and will guarantee their work. If you are not in the Ohio area, just give your local dealer a call, I'm sure they know what to do as well.
When beginning the de-winterization on RVs, you first start buy checking out the exterior for any damage that may have been done during the storage. You then start to look at the roof to make sure all the seals have not started to get gaps from the change of weather, if you see gaps then add more caulk to the areas that need them. This will stop the water from getting in on rainy days and damaging the RV.
Now check your electrical system first by putting in your freshly charged battery that was removed last fall. As always, make sure to have proper gloves and safety glasses on to avoid injury. If your RVs have a slide out, run it out a couple of times just to make sure it works ok. Now continue to check all the amenities that work from the battery for proper working such as the lights, radio, and fans. If you have a place to be able to plug in your RVs, you can do that now. Then start the ac unit up and make sure it is working well.
The plumbing on RVs should be simple to do. Fill your fresh water tank up and run the new water through the system looking for any leaks and fixing them. If you used RV anti-freeze, make sure to capture it and reuse it for next year.
The LP gas and appliances that run off of them usually don't require much winterization, some RVs just require turning on the LP gas valve to the on position and you are ready, however, this is one of those areas that a pro should check it out for you. Contact an RV dealer near you to schedule Your RV in to have the LP system looked over and have them fill the tanks.
This covers the three major systems that take de-winterization and gets you ready for the season to come. Some of the smaller items will include making sure the tires are good and inflated along with some cosmetic inside repair and stocking up the food pantry. When you have all this done you are now ready to go camping and enjoy the season.
