Hockey Pant Shell
What is the difference between a hockey girdle ,a shell and hockey pants?
i need to know and what should i buy plus what goes on what
A girdle is modified pant concept. It's a system of padding sewn into spandex that sits tighter to the body than standard pants do. A shell is a nylon cover that sits over the girdle to provide a moisture resistant layer and a more uniform look with your teammates.
One concept is not necessarily better than the other. Some prefer the snugger fit of a girdle, while others gravitate to a looser fit. There's no right or wrong, only personal preference. Personally, I used a girdle when I played in college, but use a standard pant today.
