ice hockey goalie equipment deals

i want to start playing goalies in ice hockey, what are good beginner pads?

i want to star playing goalie in ice hockey and need some equip to start out with. i want to spend as little as possible. i heard i should buy used but i dont know whether what equipment is a good buy. if you find any good deals on used goalie pads near mississauga ontario and toronto ontario and brampton ontario please post it here aswell. thanks

Anything's good to start on as long as their long enough for you. Get used....very used, so if you get into it you can sell those pads and get better ones, and if you decide goalie isn't for you then at least you didn't loose much money over it.
