Do you think my boyfriends decision is right?

My boyfriend is a big sports guy and plays football, hockey, and baseball. We are both 18. Anyway, he was getting changed for hockey in front of me and I noticed he did not put on a jock and athletic cup. I asked him why and he claims he does not need one because he is “tough” and can handle a hit to the balls. Should he be wearing one? He says he has never worn one before. He is tough but I am just wondering if he could bust something down there.

He should protect his future investment at all cost and it will hurt like a *itch when he does get hit - all of those sports are contact sports that's why they want you to wear a cup - I guess your guy will have to learn the "hard" way - no pun intended.
